The Bihar government has decided to set up Bihar Overseas Employment Bureau to save skilled workers of the state from being duped by job agencies. Such category of workers would now have to register them with this bureau so that entire process could be regularised through the bureau regarding their overseas appointments.
The state cabinet also decided to set up the Bihar Secondary Education Board in accordance with the National Secondary Education Campaign guidelines. A proposal to frame rules and memorandum was also approved.
The ministry cleared the plan to provide water supply to 5,700 government primary and middle schools under the central government sponsored National Rural Water Supply Programme.
